Ian L. Price recently joined the Board of Crown Bio.

A senior International Executive with over 35 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment sector; Searle, Abbott Laboratories and Schering-Plough. He has broad commercial experience in Profit & Loss Management, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Start-Ups, Turnaround initiatives, Profitable growth and Change Management.

He also has extensive experience in government relations in Europe, US and Far East, is well versed in Corporate Governance and Compliance and has held numerous directorships of subsidiary and affiliated Public Companies. More recently he has been involved in upcoming Medical Biotech early research, Business Advisory and Charity work.

This week Crown Bio welcomed Dr. Sijung Hu and Dr. Vince Peris, of the Loughborough University spin-out company Ansivia. The meeting was the result of an introduction made by Prof. Harry Thomason. Discussions focused on exploring ways of incorporating instrument automation and multiplexing into future Crown Bio biosensor applications.

Crown Bio enjoyed a very rewarding three days at Clean-Tec Americana Conference. We gave presentations at a Round-table lunch on Mon 21st March for the British Consul and Ecotec Quebec. We also presented at the Soils & Contaminated Land Workshop on Tue 22nd March, on behalf of the UKTI.

We made some positive contacts in our efforts to secure a Distributorship for Quebec and have also obtained several good sales leads. In all, it was well worth our efforts to attend this important Canadian event.
